How to Rise Above Things - Meditations for Challenging Times

Wednesdays, 7:30 - 9 pm

(Weekly meditation class in English. With livestream option for members.)

No class on Dec 10th

(This class offers a repeat of Monday’s content, in English)

Sooner or later, we all find ourselves in circumstances that push us to the limits of our (current) capacity to cope: whether in the form of overwhelming demands at work, heartbreaking developments in our private lives, or the effects of the destabilization of our world.

In this series, you can learn about Buddhist perspectives and meditations that will protect you from getting stuck in negative thought spirals, falling into depression, panicking, or going through life in a state of constant irritation. Through regular practice, you will gradually gain the ability to face the challenges of your life with greater flexibility and fearlessness—to rise above things.

All classes are drop-in classes. They are suitable for beginners and also offer plenty of inspiration for people who wish to deepen their understanding of meditation and/or Buddhist practice. No need for special clothing, come as you are.
